I have a PhD in materials science with a focus on physical metallurgy and have been working with precious metals for over 35 years—in dental technology, the jewelry industry, and the investment sector.
For 25 years, I was the managing director of Reischauer GmbH in Idar-Oberstein. Today, I use my experience and network for new tasks—as a freelance engineer, consultant, and coach.
My goal:
To share and pass on knowledge and experience to companies that process precious metals. With expert support, I offer assistance in the development, optimization, and manufacture of products, and provide relief in solving quality issues.

I am an engineer and materials scientist of the “old school.” With a solid education in physical metallurgy.
I was not only interested in the theory, but have also been working with precious metal technology in practice for 35 years. With materials, their processing, and products made from precious metals for applications in the dental, jewelry, and investment sectors.
My area of expertise is precious metal powder metallurgy (pressing/sintering), including the production and atomization of precious metal powders. Especially for applications in coin technology (blank coins and coins/medals/investment products).
